Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Your Site Is Waiting, a service operated by Missing Piece Tech LLC ("we", "us"). By subscribing you agree to them.

What we provide

We build and host a website for your business. Your subscription covers the site being online, hosting, security, backups, and your ability to edit its content at any time.

Your content

You own everything you put on your site — your text, your photos, your logo, your business name. You keep that ownership throughout and after your subscription. You confirm you have the right to use anything you upload.

We license you the use of the site design and any stock photography we place on it for as long as your subscription is active.

Sample sites

We sometimes build a sample site for a business before that business has asked us to. A sample site is clearly labelled as a demo, states that we are not affiliated with the business, and is hidden from search engines. Every sample site carries a link that removes it immediately, with no questions and no reply needed. If you would rather we had not built one, use that link — or email us and we will remove it for you.

Payment and cancellation

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. We never see your card details.
  • There is no setup fee, no minimum term, and no cancellation fee.
  • You can cancel at any time. Your site stays online until the end of the period you have paid for, then comes down.
  • We do not refund part-used periods, but we will not bill you again after you cancel.
  • If we change our prices, existing subscriptions keep their current price for at least 60 days after we tell you.

Acceptable use

You may not use a site we host to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else to;
  • impersonate another business or person;
  • publish content you do not have the right to publish;
  • send spam, host malware, or run phishing.

We may suspend or remove a site that does any of these. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

Availability

We work to keep your site online continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Hosting, networks and third-party providers occasionally fail. We do not offer a formal uptime guarantee at this price.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to this service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect losses.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel whenever you like. We may end the agreement if you breach these terms, or by giving you 30 days' notice, in which case we will refund any period you have paid for but not used.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
