Privacy policy

Your Site Is Waiting is operated by Missing Piece Tech LLC. This explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
- What you tell us. Your business name, what you do, your service area, phone number, opening hours and email — the answers you give us so we can build your site.
- Publicly listed business information. For a sample site, we use details a business already publishes: name, phone, hours, and the services it advertises. Nothing private, and nothing bought from a data broker.
- Payment details. Handled entirely by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and the last four digits; we never see or store your card number.
- Basic usage data. When a QR code on one of our postcards is scanned we record the time, the country, and whether it was a phone or a computer. No IP address, no name, nothing that identifies a person.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your information, ever.
- We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not put advertising or third-party trackers on your website.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to run this, and only what each one needs:
- Stripe — payments.
- Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of your site.
- Cadence — our own email system, for sending you your login link and receipts.
We email you about your own account: your edit link, receipts, and anything that affects your site. If we ever send anything else, it will have an unsubscribe link and unsubscribing will never affect your service.
Cookies
One cookie, and only if you have a site with us: it keeps you signed in so you can edit your pages. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no consent banner needed.
How long we keep things
Your account and site content for as long as you are a customer, then 90 days in case you come back, then deleted. Payment records are kept for seven years because tax law requires it.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- send you a copy of what we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your account and everything in it;
- take down a sample site immediately — there is also a link on every sample page that does this without needing to contact us.

Children
This is a service for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email you before it takes effect.
